Curious to discover more about Russia, exploring small cities, not only Moscow and Saint Petersburg?

This time I’m vlogging from my hometown Almetyevsk and a very small city Bavly, where my grandparents live.

I showed the atmosphere, shared some facts and I hope you like this video! If you have any questions, leave them in the comments below. Stay tuned for the vlog from Sicily!

The third city that we visited in Russia was Kazan. It is the capital of Tatarstan republic, where I lived for 8 years. It takes 22.5 hours to get from Saint Petersburg to Kazan by train, so we took a plane, which departed at midnight, so we had more time to spend in Saint Petersburg.

For accommodation, Kazan offers many nice hostels.

Saint Petersburg Russia vlog what to do

The second city that we’ve visited in Russia this August, was St. Petersburg.

I bought tickets to Sapsan, a high-speed train that reached Saint Petersburg from Moscow in 4 hours. I highly advise that you book tickets in advance, as their price increases a lot in time.

For accommodation, I booked a hostel on booking.com, very good central location, but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone who doesn’t speak Russian, as no one amongst the staff spoke English…

Russia Moscow travel vlog

This August, I’ve decided to bring my Italian boyfriend to Russia! Together we visited Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kazan. While I’m sure you all heard about Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Kazan is also a very interesting city to visit! It’s the capital of Tatarstan Republic in Russia with more than 1000 years of history and it’s been gaining popularity amongst Russian tourists since it hosted Universiade in 2013.

I made a lot of videos while we were travelling, after I edited the footage and here they are, my first vlogs on YouTube!!! Hope you can retrieve some useful information about Russia and come visit this amazing country one day 😉 I also prepared a more detailed description of our trip: where I booked tickets, with what airline, places we’ve visited and where we ate.

This post is dedicated to Moscow.
